Walk of Honor Pavers
Custom pavers for the Brea War Memorial walk of honor are available for order. View the informational flyer and guidelines and get an order form. The walk of honor is designed as a lasting tribute to the men and women who have served their country. The walkway leads up to the memorial's focal point, the Monument of Remembrance, which is inscribed with the names of Brea residents killed in service during wartime.
If you want to ensure your paver is installed by our annual Veterans Day ceremony, orders must be delivered or postmarked by August 31. Otherwise, pavers can be ordered anytime until sold out.
Pavers are designated for veterans, active military, and retired military personnel. The purchase price will reserve a paver to be installed on the walkway and is tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Please call 714-990-7735 for more information.
The Brea City Council is seeking submissions of eligible people to be honored on the memorial. Do you know of a Brean who served in the military and was killed during service from World War I to present? Please help us ensure that all eligible service people will be represented on the memorial.
Honorees must meet the established criteria, which includes having lived in Brea, served during wartime, and died in service from World War I to present day. View the Brea War Memorial eligibility criteria. (Please note the criteria was developed by the Brea War Memorial Advisory Board and was based on naming guidelines from the Vietnam Wall in Washington, D.C.)
To submit names for the memorial, please complete the Brea War Memorial nomination form and follow the instructions for its return. After review, eligible names will be added to the memorial and recognized a date to be determined.
